Mercury shortlisted producer, mix engineer and musician (2020 Mercury Prize Lanterns On The Lake ‘Spook The Herd’).

My career started with Lanterns On The Lake, the guitar player, but also acting as the band’s in house producer and mixer, mostly by default (nobody else wanted to do it). Entirely self taught, I engineered, produced and mixed the first three albums, ‘Gracious Tide, Take Me Home’ (2011), ‘Until The Colours Run’ (2013) and ‘Beings’ (2015), learning on the go, and I learned a lot!

in 2016 I started to produce and mix for other artists and labels. I loved it, and still do. Mixing became my thing - I love to create detailed and emotionally rich mixes, full of dynamics and layered textures, but always staying true to the artists vision, it’s your record not mine.
